From The Desk of Larry:        ’IF IT WEREN’T FOR CAFFEINE, I’D HAVE NO

                                                                                PERSONALITY WHATSOEVER”

In our fall issue of the Newsletter, we inadvertently omitted a portion of Council President Fred Potter’s article.  The article had to do with vandalism in the park and should have read as follows:  “There have been repeated acts of vandalism in our park.  It is our park built by our residents for our enjoyment.  Please, if you see someone damaging the park or wandering around after dark, please call the State Police or a Councilperson.  We will take action and we will prosecute.”

As we all know, Mother Nature threw an early season snow storm at us at the end of October.  Let’s hope that wasn’t a prelude of things to come.  Now might be a good time to make sure all your snow removal equipment is in good working order.  Separate articles in this Newsletter will explain the snow removal requirements and what to do in the event a “Snow Emergency:” is declared.

I would like to say something about a program called Operation Ensuring Christmas.  Operation Ensuring Christmas provides financial, moral and rehabilitative support to Children of Fallen American Troops by providing them with Christmas Gift Cards at Christmas.  This support is to help them recover from the grief and trauma caused by the ultimate sacrifice a child can make for their country…loss of a parent in war.  If you would like to help, please call 321-251-7850 or go online at http://opchristmas.org

I would like to wish each and every one of you a happy Holiday Season and a joyous New Year  Please drive carefully over the Holiday Season and watch out for children playing during their Holiday break.  Coffee is always on so stop by and have a cup anytime.
